IDEAS-Technology Innovation Hub, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, in collaboration with the Geosciences & Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Kolkata chapter and Hiralal Mazumdar Memorial College for Women (HMMCW), Kolkata is organising a one-day workshop on  on "Unleashing Earth Observation Insights for Flood and Drought Management: Data to Build Resilience." on September 15, 2023, starting at 10 a.m. at ISI, Kolkata.

 

This event represents the culmination of the "Training Program on Earth Observation (EO) Data Analytics for Disaster Management," which was conducted from July 10 to 14, 2023. It promises to be an informative and collaborative day, with participants from GeoHack23 showcasing their innovative efforts and achievements resulting from the hackathon. Our workshop will focus on critical areas such as Coastal Flooding, Dry Spell Management, Pre-Flowd Analysis, and Urban Flood Detection, among others.
