Comprehensive and Holistic Advancement of National Knowledge Yield and Analytics (CHANAKYA) is an initiative under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) with a focus on human resources development.
The Technology Innovation Hub, IDEAS (Institute of Data Engineering, Analytics and Science Foundation), is a Section-8 not-for-profit company incorporated at the Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata under a National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) of the Government of India. It is an Innovation Hub in the technology vertical “Data Science, Big Data Analytics, and Data Curation" supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India.

Chanakya UG / PG / Doctoral Fellowships
IDEAS-TIH CHANAKYA UG/PG/Doctoral Fellowships are primarily aimed at encouraging in-depth analysis and enriching knowledge in Data Science and related domains, creating new scientific knowledge/ technology solutions, and solving problems of the industry.
General Eligibility Criteria

UG/PG/PhD students from Science/Engineering streams at any UGC/AICTE recognised University / Institute can apply for these fellowships

If selected, students should not be receiving or should not apply for any other scholarship/grants/fellowship from Government funds.

Fellowships can be availed while pursuing UG/PG/PhD at the institute where they are enrolled

Student should have chosen a willing project supervisor / guide

Students must be aspiring to work in the areas of “Statistics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science”

2. Chanakya Post-Doctoral / Faculty Fellowships
Researchers with Doctoral or equivalent degree from any UGC/AICTE recognised Indian University / Institute, who want to pursue full time research and academic work in the area of Data Science / Artificial Intelligence / Statistics / Machine Learning / Data Analytics / Data Engineering may apply for Chanakya Post-Doctoral / Faculty fellowships at IDEAS-TIH. Candidates need to submit an innovative research proposal with translational value as per the given format. Selected candidates will be required to pursue their work at the IDEAS-TIH center and participate in the IDEAS-TIH initiatives as directed by the Project Director / CEO of IDEAS-TIH.
