IDEAS TIH Call for Onboarding of Startups in Select Sectors / Technology Domains (Published: 29/11/2024)

We are looking for onboarding promising startups in the domains mentioned below. This is an open call and interested startups may contact Mr. Debashis Ghosh, Head - Technology Business Development & Incubation at incubationlead@ideas-tih.org  / +91 98301 07911

Desired general characteristics of the startup:

  • Promoters should be having extensive relevant industry experience

  • The company should not have received any external funding

​

Specific characteristics for the startup:

Sector: ESG

  • Strong experience in consulting in the ESG industry offering assessment and/or assurance services including national and international reporting standards

  • Extensive experience with usage of a variety of ESG related software tools

​​

Domain: Data Analytics

  • Experience of developing a software solution in the analytics domain that has been deployed for paying customers

  • Strong experience in using open source software components for data visualisation, UI, machine learning, generative AI

​​

Domain: Data Engineering

  • Experience of developing web-based, multi user data platform in the data domain that has been deployed for paying customers

  • Strong experience in using open source software components for ingestion of structured and unstructured data, databases, data lakes, distributed processing, machine learning, generative AI

​​​​There is no deadline / end date for this call. Startups found eligible will be contacted for further discussion.

IDEAS TIH has tied up with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer AWS Activate benefits to startups supported by IDEAS TIH. Each qualified startup is eligible to get $5,000 in AWS Activate Credits, which is valid for 2 years

IDEAS TIH Call for Startup Cohort 3 Closed!!

Thanks to all startups for their overwhelming response against our call for proposal launched in March 2024. The Call for Proposal is now closed. This is the third cohort for early-stage startups in product development or at least a ‘ready to pilot’ Minimum Demonstrable Product (MDP).

IDEAS-TIH aims at promoting the culture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship by providing hands-on support to start-ups focused on Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Curation, Big Data Analytics. It also focuses on enhancing core competencies, capacity building, and training to nurture innovation and Start-up ecosystems. 

​

Young entrepreneurs / startups who are still in ideation stage may be granted from INR 1 lakh to 10 lakhs for PoC development under PRAYAS (PRomoting and Accelerating Young and ASpiring innovators and Start-ups) scheme. Sart-up registration not needed at the time of application.

​

Early stage startups may be given Seed funding up to INR 50 lakhs for Accleration, Testing, Market Validation and Customer acquisition in exchange of equity participation. Startup needs to be incorporated in India to receive seed funding.

 

All startups who sign the GTA with IDEAS TIH will be provided Mentoring Support, Industry / Investor connects, Collaboration oppportunities, Space & Infrastructure (subject to availability) through the IDEAS Incubation Programme.

Fresh-out-of-college graduates with entrepreneural spirit may also apply for our Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program. We provide fellowship up to INR 30000 per month for graduate students to encourage entrepreneurship. Please apply here if you are interested.
