IDEAS TIH invites application from students pursuing B.E./B. Tech./M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics and Communication Engineering or allied areas under any AICTE / UGC approved college / institute for temporary internship positions in the organization under the following terms and conditions:

1. Internship positions are full-time and based at the IDEAS TIH office in Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata

2. Monthly stipend of Rs 10000 (for Undergraduates) and Rs 12400 (for Postgraduates) will be paid

3. Interns will be working in the area of Data Science application development and need to have prior knowledge of programming in C/C++/Python/Java/ PHP

4. Students with following skill will be preferred: Mobile applications (Android/iOS) development / Back-end Frameworks (Flask/Laravel/Spring) / Databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) / Frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Bootstrap, Streamlit)

5. Internship period will be 2 to 4 months and may be extended based on mutual agreement

6. Students need to show commitment and punctuality in the assigned work and tasks. Underperforming interns may be terminated without serving any notice period.

7. Internship does not provide any commitment for future job / campus placement opportunities

8. Internship certificate will be provided to only those candidates who successfully complete the assignments.

9. Selection of interns will be based on initial screening and interviews.

10. Institute reserves all rights to call /select / reject candidates and/or cancel this advertisement without showing any reason.
